www.invitaenunclic.com is a unique site where you will find all the stationery you need to organize your wedding or event. We put the best designs on customizable cards, invitations and printables at your fingertips so you can make them yours and send online, on paper or both.

How it works? Browse for the card design you would like to use and customize it to suit the needs of your event. You can change the text, the color, upload a photo or even your own design. Once customized, select whether you want to send it online or on paper.

To invite online, simply upload the email addresses of the recipients. Invitaenunclic will send the card on the specified date and manage your RSVPs. Guests will receive the invitation via email in an envelope personalized with their name. By clicking on the envelope, it will open and display the chosen invitation. To RSVP, guests will simply need to click on the confirmation card accompanying their invitation, and the response will be registered in your list of confirmations.

If you want to send printed invitations, once we receive your order and within a maximum of 2 working days, we will send you a PDF proof for your verification. Once the design is approved and in a maximum of 10 working days you will receive your printed invitations at home. You will love our hand lined envelopes!

Moreover, as we are getting many requests for stationery and party decorations matching our invitations, we have created a new section of printables that you can download and use to make your party unforgettable.

CREATING AND CUSTOMIZING THE INVITATION

Customize an Invitation

Position the pointer over the chosen tab: ‘kids’, ‘wedding’, ‘parties', ‘holiday’, ‘stationery’, ‘corporate’, ‘upload your design’ or ‘solidarity cards’. Click on the type of card you want to send.

Within the chosen category, select the invitation or card that you like, click 'customize', and create your own from professional designs.

You’ll find that you can modify many aspects of the design: selecting another type of paper, adding an image or logo, trying other combinations of fonts, color or spacing, or customizing the envelope.

You can also replace parts of the text or the full text with your own message. To do so:

  • Select the text you want to edit, and then type.
  • Adjust the text size, color or spacing by selecting the text and then selecting a new font size, color or spacing in the toolbar.
  • If the text is too long and exits the margins of the invitation, click 'wrap text' and the program will adjust the text to the window.
  • If you don’t like the changes you’ve made, click ‘undo changes’ and the program will recover the original text.

NOTE: To select text, click where you want to start the selection, hold down the left mouse button and drag the pointer over the text you want to select.

Add an image

Some invitations allow you to upload an image. Adding an image costs an extra €0.05 per invitation sent. To upload, please click on 'upload image’. The image you upload will be resized automatically. Please ensure that the name of the image contains no accents, ñ, or special characters. The import system may not be able to read them.

To make our website more efficient and to give you better service, the maximum weight is 2 MB. For optimal viewing, upload an image of dimensions similar to the image of the invitation (if it is square, substitute it for a square image, if it is vertical, for a vertical one, and if it is horizontal, for a horizontal one).

As for formats, we recommend uploading the image in JPEG, an image compression system widely used on the Internet with minimal loss of resolution.

Once you have selected the picture click 'open'. The image upload process may take some time depending on image’s size and your Internet connection. You must not click more than once on 'upload' because if you do, the process will be interrupted and you will have to start over.

NOTE: To avoid problems when uploading, we recommend you not upload images with accents, ñ, or special characters. The import system may not be able to read them.

Add a logo

Some invitations allow you to upload logos. Adding a logo costs an extra €0.05 per invitation sent. To upload a logo, please click on 'upload image’. The image will automatically be resized. Please ensure that the name of the image contains no accents, ñ, or special characters. The import system may not be able to read them.

Customize the envelope

You can also customize the envelope by adding a liner and a seal stamp. To do this, click on the liners or seal stamps that you like. The system will allow you to view what you have chosen. To finalize the process, click 'next'.

Upload your design

To upload your own invitation, please click 'upload your design'.

Upload your photo in JPEG format with a maximum size of 2 MB and in a similar size to this invitation. In asking you to do so, our aim is to make our website more efficient and to provide you with better service.

Once you've selected the file, click 'open'. The process may take a few seconds depending on the image size and your Internet connection. You must not click more than once on 'upload' because if you do, the process will be interrupted and you will have to start over.

To facilitate the work of choosing a liner and seal stamp appropriate to your invitation, we have grouped the products in colors: warm (yellow, red, orange and purple), cold (blue, green, cyan, green, purple and blue) and neutral (beige, gray and tan).

NOTE: To avoid problems when uploading, we recommend you not upload images with accents, ñ, or special characters.

View your design

To see how your invitation will look to its recipients, once the envelope is finished, click on ‘view’. You can always go back if the end result is not to your liking.

I want a special design. What I can do?

MANAGING AND USING CONTACTS

Upload Contacts

To enter your contacts, you must sign up or, if you’ve already signed up, login by entering your username and password.

In 'create your guest list' you can add your recipients in 3 ways: by importing contacts from other applications, manually entering contacts, or via the contacts in your invitaenunclic address book.

Add contacts manually

Enter 'Name', and 'Email'. Make sure the information you enter is correct and click ‘add’ to upload it to your ‘guest list’.

Import contacts from other applications

Upload file contact: To import information from another application you need to first export them in CSV (comma-separated values) format in 2 columns (name, email) as shown in the image below. Once you have the information in the format that invitaenunclic can understand, you just need to click on 'select a file' and choose the file to import. The system will automatically import contacts to your 'guest list'.

Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Apple Mail: All these programs and browsers include a feature to export the contacts list in CSV (comma-separated values) format. This is a simple format that can be opened by any spreadsheet without problems. Find the Export function in the program or browser you use, select CSV as the export file. Open the CSV and organize data into 2 columns (name, email). Once you have the data in the format that invitaenunclic can understand, you just need to click on 'select a file' and choose the file to import. The system will automatically import contacts to your 'guest list'.

NOTE: Make sure your list contains correct information (name, email) in the correct fields so, that when you combine it, the mail looks perfect.

If you wish, invitaenunclic saves the imported contacts for future use. To do so, after importing the contacts, click 'save list in address book’ and the system will keep them in your address book, so you can access them again later.

To add contacts to your address book please click ‘my address book’ then click ‘upload contacts’ and select the file that you wish to import. Once the contacts have been imported click on 'ready' to return to the page. The contacts will be stored in your address book for future use.

Add contacts from your invitaenunclic address book

If you wish, invitaenunclic saves the imported contacts for future use. To do so, after importing the contacts, click 'save list in address book’ and the system will keep them in your address book, so you can access them again later.

  • To add contacts to your address book please click ‘my address book’ then click ‘upload contacts’ and select the file that you wish to import. Once the contacts have been imported click on 'ready' to return to the page. The contacts will be stored in your address book for future use.

NOTE: For information on creating groups, please see section Invitaenunclic address book.

Remove contacts from your guest list

All imported contacts to your 'guest list' are enabled by default, ie., they will receive your invitation. To disable entries, you can:

  • delete contacts one by one, by clicking on the icon 'trash' that appears to the right of the guest list or,
  • delete contacts in groups, selecting on the left those contacts you want to delete and clicking the ‘remove selected’ button located at the end of the list.

Automatic price calculation

The sending price varies depending on the amount of invitations you want to send. For more information on pricing, please click here.

Invitaenunclic address book

If you want to keep your guest list in your invitaenunclic address book for future invitations, click the button 'save list to address book’ on the lower right. A window will appear where you can 'select group'. Select the group in which you want to save your contacts. If you have not yet created any groups, the system will give you the option of saving the list in 'all contacts' or else to create a 'new group'.

  • If you do not want to create any groups click on 'save' and the contacts will become part of your address book.
  • If you prefer to save your contacts in a group click on 'create new group' where you can name the new group.

The group is automatically saved. To delete a group, you must first select it and then click on the ‘trash’. Deleted lists cannot be recovered.

When the 'guest list' is drawn up, press the ‘next’ button to continue with the purchasing and sending process.

Edit contacts from your invitaenunclic address book

To access your ‘address book’ go to 'my account' and click on ‘address book’. Invitaenunclic allows you to edit entries once they form part of your ‘address book’. If you want to change a name or email address, click on the 'pencil' edit icon to modify the contents of a cell.

Checking the validity of e-mail addresses and of the introduction of duplicates

Invitaenunclic supports different types of imports and always checks both the syntactic validity of the e-mail as well as the introduction of duplicates.

When the 'guest list' is drawn up, press the ‘next’ button to continue with the purchasing and sending process.

SENDING AND MONITORING EMAILS

Entering e-mail information

The 'e-mail details' tab serves to introduce:

  • the details of the e-mail (subject, sender, location, etc..)
  • the guest list

NOTE: To ensure that the receiver recognizes your invitation and opens the message, it is important that they identify both the subject of the e-mail as well as the sender. Note that this information will appear as text in the e-mail received by your guests. Please complete it with care.

Your invitaenunclic order

The invitation and any extra supplements will appear in your order. You can view your invitation by clicking on 'view' to the right.

The amount of your purchase appears at the bottom of the order. Please review it. If you are satisfied with the result of your invitation and wish to make the order, click 'next'. Click 'back' if you want to change something.

If you have gift codes or discount codes to make a sending, enter the appropriate code and click on 'activate code'. The corresponding amount will be deducted simultaneously from the total. The remaining amount of the purchase, if any, will subsequently be charged to your credit card.

Payment Details

We offer various payment methods:

  • Credit or debit card payment through the payment gateway of 'Popular Payments'.

    At invitaenunclic.com you can use Visa, MasterCard, and JBC. We will request the name and address where you receive your account statements. You must write your name as it appears on your credit card. All fields are required.

    Then, through the secure platform of 'Popular Payments' you must enter the type, number, expiry date and security code of your card. All transactions made through this platform have the highest guarantee of security and confidentiality. Be sure to enter the number without spaces or dashes.

    Once you have completed your information, you must click 'pay', by which you authorize the charge to your credit card and make your purchase. The total price you will pay includes the price of the product plus VAT (at the rate in effect on the date of purchase). The authorization of your card can take a few seconds, please wait.

    Once payment has been made, a message will appear stating 'The payment was successful. Sending will be made on the stipulated due date. You will receive an email with the order details.’ You will receive an email confirming the purchase. To keep you informed of the progress of your order, you will receive another e-mail with the sending report.

  • • Monthly Plan payment

    If you intend to perform regular monthly deliveries choose the Monthly Plan that best suits your consumption needs based on the number of invitations you intend to send per month. We will charge the credit card that you provide with the monthly amount that you wish to hire. The greater number of invitations sent, the lower the price per invite.

    Monthly plans have monthly usage limits, with deliveries valid for thirty (30) cumulative days. The hired plan automatically renews at the end of the initial period, coinciding with the customer's billing cycle. The recurring payment is made to the credit card used when subscribing. The first 3 months subscription is charged at the beginning of the subscription. After the first 3 months, you may cancel the plan at any time.

    Deliveries that are not used in the course of a month shall be valid for the next month. Also you can buy additional deliveries to complete a month for the price of the hired rate. If the sending limit is exceeded, invitaenunclic will charge for the extra invitations the price hired per invitation.

Sending Report

A sending report will be sent by e-mail once the sending is made. This lets you see how many messages have been sent and if errors have occurred. The errors correspond to immediate SMTP problems such as local domain resolution problems. They don’t include potential bounces that usually arrive over several days.

How can I keep track of my cards and invitations?

When you sign up with invitaenunclic, a control panel is created for your personal account. There you will find your invitaenunclic address book and all invitations you have previously sent or designed.

To keep track of RSVPs to a specific invitation, just go to your desktop, and click on 'my account' on 'my invitations', then on 'sent' and finally click 'manage RSVPs’. You can see who is attending, not attending, not yet confirmed or which email failed.

How do I unsubscribe to stop receiving invitations?

It is not possible to block emails from a specific sender. If you do not want to receive invitations from one of our users, please contact the sender of the invitation. If you do not want to receive invitations from anyone using invitaenunclic, email us at info@invitaenunclic.com indicating 'I don’t want to receive invitations from anyone using invitaenunclic', and your email address. You will receive an email confirming the cancellation.

PAPER INVITATIONS

Customizing your invitation for printing

It is very easy to customize your paper invitation. Once you have chosen the card you want to send you can customize it online. You’ll find that you can modify many aspects of the design: selecting another type of paper, adding an image or logo, trying other combinations of fonts, color or spacing, or customizing the envelope.

Adding or removing lines of text

You have the option to add or remove a line of text as you customize your invitation. As we prepare your proofs, we will adjust text and spacing as appropriate for the amount of text supplied. Please note that designs vary so some designs may not be able to accommodate as much text as others.

Invitations with envelope or without envelope

You can order your invitations accompanied with envelopes or without. We take great pride in our laid envelopes and searched high and low to have them custom made. Envelopes come in white and have the same textured finish than the invitation. Dimensions: A5 (9.02 x 6.38 in.)

If you want to give your invitations a very special touch, you can also add liner to the envelopes. For pricing information see ' price list ‘.

Adding an extra details card for more information or RSVP to your invitation

Please let us know during the proofing process if you require an extra details card or stationery for specifics and pricing. Additional stationery services may include:

Samples

Before printing the invitations we will send you an email with a PDF for you to revise and approve the final design. The goal is that you can check the spelling and the size and position of text and images. Please note that, if you print a copy of the PDF on the home printer, the colors will not be exactly be the same as in the invitation printed by our professional printers. Therefore, we recommend not using this test to check color.

If you also want to verify the quality of the card and/or envelope before ordering, we will send you a sample without printing. Sending a sample has a cost of 4 Euros and is done by regular mail.

Order Process

  1. Once we receive your order and within a maximum of 2 working days we will send you a PDF proof for your verification. If the chosen card includes an image we will request you to provide it (300 dpi. high resolution). The original image you submit will be respected. Invitaenunclic will not make any retouching.
  2. Once the design is approved we will send the original to print.
  3. In a maximum of 10 working days (from the approved design) you will receive your invitations at home.

Shipping rates

Shipping rates are determined during online checkout and are calculated based on weight of item(s) and destination.

Each order is processed to ship the most efficient way. We use MRW for domestic orders and some EU countries. We use Correos, the Spanish Postal Service, to ship to other destinations.

Delivery times

You will receive a dispatch confirmation email once your order has been shipped.

  • For mainland domestic orders, delivery will be made the day after collection before 8:00 pm.
  • Shipments to the Balearic Islands, Andorra and Portugal are generally delivered within 2-3 working days from the date of shipment.

If shipment cannot be delivered the courier company will call to arrange a suitable time for delivery or will hold your order so you can collect it from your local depot.

Non-delivery

Remember to provide a shipping address where someone is available to receive the order, and a phone number where you can be reached.

If you are absent the day of delivery, the courier will attempt to reach you on the phone number you've provided, to arrange a second delivery or provide you with the closest pickup shipping office.

If the address is incorrect or incomplete, after a period of fifteen days shipping will be returned to origin.

Cancellations

Because each order is custom printed and is approved before going to press, please be advised that we cannot accept returns.

PRINTABLES

How do I download my files?

  • Personalized printables: Within a maximum of 2 working days you will receive your personalized printables via email.
  • Printables designed to use as is or to fill out by hand: once the order has been placed go to: MY ACCOUNT » MY PRINTABLES. Download by clicking the link.

Download links expire after 60 days from the date of purchase, so please download your files within that time period and save them in a safe place.

How do I print the files?

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and print them. It is a standard free software used worldwide to view, print, and add comments to PDF documents. Be sure to use the latest version.

You can print the files at home or have them printed at a commercial printer. Commercial printers are not too expensive and tend to print colors brighter than home printers.

Please note that the files are set to print only on size A4 sheets (8.25 X 11.69 inches). We recommend printing on card stock. Cut along the dotted lines.

  • Home color printers: It is the easiest option if you have a good color printer. All you need to do is hit ‘print’ and print the high-resolution printables as many times as you like. We recommend printing on size A4 heavy white card stock. Please make sure your printer is set to ‘actual size’ and is not set to ‘fitting to a page’ so the original measurements of the file stay intact. Once printed, just trim.
  • Office supply stores: Save your files to a USB drive and go into an office supply store to print out your printables. We recommend printing on size A4 heavy white card stock. Once printed, you can have your printables trimmed or trim them yourself.

Please note that color may vary depending on the printer and type of paper used.

Paper Type

Print on some sort of heavy white card stock. If you use a linen paper with a subtle linen texture it will make everything look a bit richer. For labels, you may want to consider using sticky label paper.

Be aware of your whiteness level — do you want it to be warm and ecru-ey, or crisp and cool?

How to trim printables without crop marks

To avoid the added time and expense of using larger sheets and cutting it down to trim size, some of our printables are designed for and print on standard cut sizes.

How to trim using crop marks

The crop marks are the vertical or horizontal tick marks that line up with the edges of the printables on the page. We use crop marks only when printing to a larger sheet of paper than the final trim size of the printables.

You need three things before you get started: A cutting board, a straight edge (ideally metal rather than a plastic or wooden ruler), and a cutting knife.

Step 01
Place the sized A4 sheet on a cutting board.

Step 02
Line up your ruler with the crop marks.

Step 03
Hold the ruler firmly with your non-cutting hand. Run your knife between the crop marks (not cutting the ends of the paper) you can then still see the other lines. If you cut all the way to the edges you will lose half of your crop marks.

Repeat until you have cut all the printables.

SIGNING UP AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Do I need to sign up at invitaenunclic?

You do not need an account to view an invitation received (although you will always see it with the watermark, which only disappears once the user is logged in), but to create and send invitations you need to login.

To register simply enter your e-mail, keeping in mind that you will receive all the information concerning your orders at this email address. The registration page will then immediately appear where we will ask you for your information. Make sure you choose a password easy to remember.

If you already have an account, enter your email address and password and click on the ‘start session’ or 'login'.

Do I need to verify my account?

Yes, once you sign up at invitaenunclic.com you will receive an email at the e-mail address you used to sign up. Click the link in that email to verify your user account.

I forgot my password or username. What I can do?

Don’t worry. If you have forgotten your username or password, send us a request for a password reminder; you simply have to write your username or the e-mail address you used to sign up and we will send you an email with your login details.

Can I change my user information?

Yes, from your personal menu in the 'my account' tab, you can modify all your user information: your username, your personal information and your password.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, to delete your account and the invitaenunclic.com information it contains, you must log in and then from your personal menu in the 'my account' tab, you must click on ‘deactivate account’. Enter your login information and your account will be terminated at invitaenunclic.

How can I know my balance or what gift codes and discount codes I have?

To learn what gift codes and discount codes you have, simply go to 'my account' and then 'my promotions'. There you will see a list of your promotions including the code you need to activate them.

How can I use my gift codes and discount codes?

If you have a invitaenunclic gift code or discount code, you can enter the code on the payment page. When making an order, your gift codes and discount codes will be used first; the remaining amount to be paid, if any, will subsequently be charged to your credit card.

Conditions for gift codes and discount codes:

  • Gift or discount codes can be redeemed at our website to purchase invitaenunclic.com products.
  • Gift or discount codes can be accumulated, meaning you can use more than one code per purchase.
  • Gift or discount codes must be used in full in a single purchase. Their value amount is not cumulative.
  • Gift or discount codes can not be redeemed for cash.
  • If the amount of your order exceeds the value of your gift code you must enter a credit card or debit card to cover the remaining amount to be paid.
  • Gift or discount codes expire according to the terms and conditions stated in the invitaneunclic.com offer or promotion.
  • The same terms and conditions will be applied that generally apply to the purchase of invitaenunclic products and use of the Invitaenunclic.com portal.

How I can make a suggestion on the site?

I am not receiving invitations. What I can do?

If you are not receiving our email invitations, it is possible that your internet service provider (ISP) considers them to be SPAM or you're using an antispam software that blocks unwanted emails.

To ensure that you receive our invitations, please add invitations@invitaenunclic.com to your address book and mark us as trusted senders.
